Here is what our daily schedule looks like right now:
7:15 AM:  I wake up to shower and get breakfast ready.
8-8:30 AM: The girls wake up so I go upstairs to get them.  Change diapers and sometimes change their clothes.
9-11:30 AM:  After breakfast I let the girls play in the downstairs playroom while I clean the kitchen and do laundry.  This is the best time of the day for us to run errands.
11:30 AM: Prep for the babies lunch.
12 PM: Lunch for the girls.  If they are cooperative, I try to eat now as well.
12:30 PM: Play a little while I clean up lunch.
1 PM: Nap for the girls.  My turn to check off the To Do list.
2:30-4 PM:  The girls wake up sometime in this time frame.  We do a small snack and milk after they all wake up.
4-5:30 PM: Play time or go for a walk.
5:30 PM: Prep dinner for the girls.
6 PM: Feed girls dinner in the feeding table.  Brian gets home.
6:30 PM: Brian and I eat dinner.  Normally its one of us eats while the other occupies the kids and then switch.  I try to get the kitchen cleaned a little before we head back upstairs for bed time routine.
7:15 PM: Bath time or play in the girls room while we get them ready for bed.
8 PM: Sippy cups.
8:30 PM: Girls are in bed and hopefully asleep.  Time to clean up the house and the trail of toys everywhere.

My Life Right Now... 1 Year

One Year!  Yes, I have three 1 year olds.  It is so crazy to me.  Here is what our daily schedule looks like right now:

6:45 AM:  I wake up to pump and shower.
7:30 AM: The girls are sometimes awake but playing in their cribs quietly.  I eat breakfast and get their bottles ready.  On occasion, there is someone up already and in the kitchen with me as I get things ready.
8 AM: I go in to their room and say good morning.  I change their diapers and set them up on the floor to drink their bottles.  Once they finish, I set up the baby gate to let them play in their room while I prep bottles and clean up the kitchen.
9 AM:  Bring the girls in to the kitchen to eat solids.
9:30 AM: Change their clothes and let them play in their room some more.
9:30 AM: Let the girls play in their play pen while I try to clean up the disaster they have made in their room and in the kitchen.  Start the laundry, start the dishes.
10:30 AM: Nap time. Then I either clean up or try to get something done around the house.
11 AM: Time for my lunch.
11:30 AM: Prep for the babies lunch.
12 PM: Babies are awake and I bring them in to the kitchen for lunch.
12:30 PM: This is our "open" time.  We go for a walk, run a errand, or play in the play pen.
2 PM: Prep bottles and then feed the girls in the boppies in the living room.
2:30 PM: Nap time.  I put them all in their sleep sacks in their cribs.  There is normally some chatting going on before they fall asleep.  I head to pump (#2) and keep an eye on them on the monitor.
3 PM: Clean/do chores/etc.
4 PM: Girls wake up.  We play or go for a walk.
5 PM: Prep dinner for the girls.
5:15 PM: Feed girls dinner in the feeding table.
6 PM: Brian gets home. And I start dinner.  We take the girls to the play pen or their jumperoos.
6:30 PM: Brian and I eat dinner.  They run around in their walkers.
7 PM: Bath time or play in the girls room while we get them ready for bed.
7:30 PM: Prep night bottles.
8 PM: Night bottles and then to bed.
8:30 PM: Clean up the kitchen, Brian cleans the living room, start laundry, eat dessert.
10 PM: Pump #3.
10:30 PM: Get in bed... And babies wake up...
We are really trying not to feed the girls in the middle of the night.  But things are so unpredictable and we just do what we think is best in our zombie, sleepy parent state.

This schedule has lightened slightly from the 9 months post.  I'm able to leave them playing while I do some stuff around the house (if they are in good moods), which makes my days a little more productive.  I also don't have to be so strict about the schedule.  They have learned to adjust feeding times or naps accordingly.  I can't believe they are already one.  I have had one amazing year!

My Life Right Now...9 Months

My kids are 9 months old now.  The time goes by so quickly.  I'm loving this stage they are in right now.  They are mobile and interactive.  Here is a glimpse at what our schedule is during the day right now...

6:45 AM:  I wake up to pump and shower.
7:30 AM: The girls are normally awake but playing in their cribs quietly.  I eat breakfast and get their bottles ready.
8 AM: I go in their room.  Most of the time they are thrilled to see you and it is so sweet.  I change their diapers and then set them up on the floor in their boppies so they can eat all at once.  Yay for the babies holding their own bottles.
8:45 AM:  Bring the girls (or they follow me) in to the kitchen for feeding solids.
9:15 AM: Change their clothes.
9:30 AM: Let the girls play in their play pen while I try to clean up the disaster they have made in their room and in the kitchen.  Start the laundry, start the dishes.
10:20 AM: One by one I take them in to their bedroom to nap.  This process is normally pretty painless.  They are pretty tired by this point.
10:40 AM: Once everyone is asleep, I grab a snack and head to pump.
11 AM: Prep for dinner and eat lunch.
11:30 AM: Normally someone is already up at this point.  Juggle babies while I get their bottles ready.
12 PM: Feed babies in boppies in the living room  (Maybe I can catch a little of Gray's Anatomy or The Bachelor... maybe)
12:30 PM: Clean bottles and prep bottles for the next feeding.
12:45 PM: Bring girls in to the kitchen for feeding solids.
1:30 PM: Take the girls to the play pen, run an errand, or take the girls for a walk.
2:15 PM: Take the girls one by one to their cribs for nap #2.
2:30 PM: I grab a snack and go pump.
3 PM: Finally a moment that I can use to do something around the house or for myself... Oh wait, no... a baby is awake.
3:30 PM: Juggle babies while prepping bottles.
4 PM: Feed the girls in their boppies in the living room.
4:30 PM: Bring the girls in the kitchen for feeding solids.
5 PM: If they cooperate, take the girls in the bathroom while I pump.
5:30 PM: Put the girls in the play pen or jumpers while I try to finish dinner.
6 PM: Brian gets home.  The girls are sooo happy to see him.  We juggle babies while trying to eat.
6:30 PM: Bath time on bath nights.  Prep night bottles.
7:15 PM: Feed the babies their last bottle of the night.
7:30 PM: I clean the kitchen and Brian picks up around the rest of the house.  We work really well together.
8:30 PM: Start checking things off of my To Do List.
10 PM: Pump
10:30 PM: Get in bed... And babies wake up...
Between 11 PM-6 AM: One or more babies wake up.  Lately it has just been Samantha one time for food and maybe a pacifier or two for Mallory and Taylor.
6:45 AM: Repeat.

As you can see, my days are planned out to the T.  I like schedules and organization and I know this looks a little crazy... but if I didn't have it this way, my babies would probably go hungry and my house would be a total disaster.  So much has to happen in a day that I have to make a time for it.  My days may be busy, but I love taking care of my cuties day after day.  They are so fun and entertaining.  I love seeing them discover new things, reach a new milestone, and interact with each other.  I love being their Momma :)

And I wouldn't end a post without some cuteness...Here are some pictures from St. Patrick's Day.

My Life Right Now... 6 months

It's hard to believe that I'm a Mom sometimes.  I have to sit back and think to myself, "Wow, I'm a Mom and a Mom to 3 babies".  That's crazy to me that I would be so lucky.  It's weird to say, "... my daughters..." like when you first get engaged or married and you refer to your significant other as fiancé or husband.  It takes some time getting used to.  This whole being a Mom thing is just new and I'm still getting used to it.

I feel like the past 6 months have flown by.  I know everyone says that about their kids and now I completely understand.  I mean I look back at pictures and its sometimes hard to remember how it felt to hold my itty bitty babies.  They are still itty bitty but 3 times as big as they once were.  How can it feel so long ago but also feel like it went by so fast?  I'll never be satisfied :)  That is why I take sooo many pictures and video.  I want to remember what our everyday lives were like... what we did, how they played, when they napped, etc.  So here is how it goes for us now at 6 months old:

6:30 AM: I get up, shower, pump, and head to the kitchen to get bottles ready, eat breakfast, and empty/load the dishwasher.

8 AM: Go wake up the girls (normally they are awake and playing in their cribs), change their diapers, maybe play a little in one of the cribs, and then start feeding.  If I'm by myself, one baby gets to play on the floor while I feed 2 babies (one in my arms and one in the bassinet) then switch.  We then play on the floor in their room and I change their clothes.  If they are all happy I'll slip away to start laundry, clean bottles, and get the next round of bottles filled.

10 AM: Nap time... No, not for me (I wish), but for the girls.  They have been sleeping in their swings for naps but this week we began the transition to their cribs.  It hasn't been that successful so we are kinda half and half at the moment.  We will see what happens.  While the girls nap, I pump, clean the kitchen, start a project or make a phone call.  At 11:15 I make my lunch and hope the girls stay sleeping while I eat.

12 PM: Time for the girls to eat.  They also get about 2 ounces of formula added to their bottles at this feed since they are just now starting to eat more than I can produce for them.  I feed them in the living room.  Normally 2 in boppies and the other gets to play.  Hopefully she is not crying.  After eating, its playtime again.  The girls play on the floor in the activity gyms, jump in the jumperoo and exersaucer, and bounce in the bouncers.  We normally have to rotate.  Luckily we have enough 'things' for the girls to stay somewhat occupied.  We also have a bucket full of toys that they get to play with.

2 PM:  Nap time again.  Once they are asleep, I head to pump, then take care of laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc before I do anything else.  If I'm lucky, I may have a little free time to check something off of my to do list or blog (I'm thanking the girls for letting me blog right now).

4 PM: 3rd feeding of the day.  It goes about the same as the noon feeding in the living room.  If I'm by myself and the weather is descent, I will pack the girls up in the stroller and we will go for a walk after they eat.  It gets us all out of the house for a little while and I normally look forward to this.  When we get back, I lug all the carseats to the bathroom so I can pump and keep the girls occupied at the same time.

6 PM: Brian gets home.  Hopefully, I have found time to prepare dinner (crock pot meals are on the menu most nights) and we eat.  We will put the girls in bouncers next to us at the table or sometimes let them watch some cartoons.

7 PM:  Every 3rd night we bathe the girls.  This is kind of like an assembly line.  Brian and I sometimes switch off who is undressing, bathing, getting them ready for bed, and preparing bottles.  It gets pretty chaotic and there may be a little crying but it gets done in as organized a way as we can handle.

7:30 PM:  Last feeding of the day.  We add rice cereal to this bottle which makes them sleep longer and keeps the spit up to a minimum.  They eat the most at this feeding.  Most of the time at least one falls asleep while feeding them.  Once we put them down, there is not much back and forth.  The girls go to bed pretty easily.

8 PM:  Ahhhh, I can take a deep breath and slow down for a bit.  Wait, no, I have a ton to do!  Clean the kitchen and the living room and then take care of all of those little projects.  Lately it has been decorating the house for Christmas and Christmas shopping online or one of us gets the chance to leave to do a little Christmas shopping.

10 PM: I go pump and get ready for bed.  I try to get to sleep by 10:30 but that doesn't always happen.

3 AM:  I wake up to pump.

Mallory sleeps through the night without a problem.  The other two may wake up for a pacifier or food.  We only feed them once 4 oz to tied them over til the morning.  And at 6:30 AM, we do it all over again.

This is my life right now and I absolutely LOVE it.  To see those precious smiles in the morning just melts my heart.  I know they are getting bigger and doing new things so I want to treasure every moment I get with them.  They will only be this small once.
