Triple Play: 1 Month

My girls are getting so big.  I can't believe they are already 1 month (and 1 day) old. We love to see how they are changing and experiencing new things.  I'm going to post Monthly updates... sorta like my Bump Days when I was preggo.  Here we go...


How old?  1 month (and 1 day)

 

Our weights?  S: 6 lbs 5.2 oz  T: 6 lbs 2.2 oz  M: 6 lbs 5.5 oz
Taylor (who was born the heaviest) is now the lightest and Mallory (who was born the lightest) is now the heaviest.  We have grown out of our preemie clothes and are now wearing newborn size.

 

Our sleeping patterns? About 3-4 hours before we need to eat again.  Mallory is normally the first to wake up and Sam loves to sleep so we normally have to wake her up to feed.  Taylor constantly makes noise, sometimes even when she is sleeping.

 

Our eating schedule?  Every 3-4 hours we get fussy and want to eat... again (didn't we just finish feeding?)  Feedings take us anywhere from 1 hour (with 3 adults) to 2.5 hours when you are doing it yourself one baby at a time (and still trying to get them to nurse).  Sam is slow and steady while Mal and Taylor have to be slowed down sometimes because they eat too fast.

 

Our favorite foods? Breast milk, yum yum.

 

Our likes?  Being held, our pacifiers, and being close to each other.  We also like to look at lights.

 

Our dislikes?  Vitamins and gas, both yucky.

 

Our favorite games/toys?  Swings and bouncers.  We like movement and being upright a little.

 

Our milestones?  We are beginning to track with our eyes and lift our heads. 

Things we do to make Mom and Dad smile?  The cute faces we make, seeing us learn new things, and of course letting us get some sleep :)
