I know I'm a little late but I wanted to do a post on Easter. The girls' first Easter was so much fun. The weather was beautiful in Houston so we spent quite a bit of time outside. I'm not sure if it was that we were out of the house so much, but the girls were great babies (during the day).
On Friday, we headed to the mall for pictures with the Easter Bunny. We got there when the bunny was supposed to start pictures for the day, yet we still waited about an hour to get our pictures taken. Eeek! And yes, I was super nervous when I saw the line thinking I would shortly have 3 screaming babies. Surprisingly, the girls did awesome and weren't even fussy in to their nap time when we took the picture. We even got a cute smile out of Sam.
On Saturday, we met Brian's family at their neighborhood park to celebrate Easter. My MIL made a great picnic lunch for all of us. We set the girls up on a blanket and they were happy campers.
Our nephew Zachary, giving Taylor a big smooch.

Opening Easter baskets
Saturday was also our 6th Anniversary so Brian and I were able to get out together for a nice dinner.
On Easter, we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house. We were surrounded by family and everyone loved playing with the babies.
The girls did their first Easter egg hunt. It was pretty cute. They somewhat grasped the concept of picking up the eggs and putting them in their basket. The hunt shortly turned in to a really cute photo opportunity.
Taylor has learned to point and points all the time. It is our first line of actual communication with her since she can point to what she wants.

Me with each of my girls
At the end of the day, the girls were all pretty tired. It the end to an amazing weekend.
