Triple Play - 18 Months

How old?  18 Months.

Our weights?  S: 20 lbs 1 oz T: 21 lbs 14 oz M: 21 lbs 5 oz
Heights: S: 29.75 inches T: 31.1 inches, M: 29.5 inches
They are wearing 12 months clothes right now.  They are fitting in to some 18 months as well.  Jammies are 18 months.

Our sleeping patterns?  We officially transitioned to 1 nap.  Sam could probably still use two naps but in order for me to at least get some down time, they must nap together.  Sam normally wakes up after 1.5 hours and the other two normally sleep another hour after that.

Sleeping at night has been pretty good lately (besides when they were sick and Mallory woke up more than 10 times one night, ugh).  We transitioned to the new house pretty well.  Normally its not too much trouble to get them back to sleep if someone wakes up.  They typically sleep from 8:30 PM to 8 AM.

Our eating schedule?  The girls have breakfast at 8:30 AM, Lunch at noon, snack when they wake up from their nap (between 3-4), and dinner at 6.

Our favorite foods?  String cheese has been a house favorite lately.

Our likes? Being free in the new house to play.  They love their kitchen cabinet that is specifically for them.  They are really attached to their 'babies' now.  Mallory has an orange monkey, Sam has baby Lady from Lady and the Tramp, and Taylor has a little white puppy.  They love to dance when music comes on and really like the Christmas lights.  They also like cartoons (for about 45 seconds) and Mallory even asks for the TV sometimes.

Our dislikes?  When a sister is hurt or scared.  They really care for each other and are concerned when their sister is sad or crying.  It is so sweet.  They dislike when they want me to hold them or play with them and I have to be in the kitchen cooking or cleaning.

Our favorite games/toys?  The slide (which gets taken away often), running to the wall and back to me, peekaboo is making a comeback, puzzles, Megablocks.

Our milestones?  Language and speech have gotten much better the past month.  They are starting to say each other's names.  Sam has all of the animal sounds down.  Taylor will normally try to repeat what you tell her.  She said "remember" the other day.  Although it sounded more like "memer".  Taylor is always so confident when she says something.  Mallory has her s's and f's pretty good.  She is saying shoe, socks, frog, flower, etc.  Mallory has also learned to climb a ladder, Yikes!

Things we do to make Mom and Dad smile?  I watched Mallory and Sam have a conversation the other day.  It was adorable.  They were babbling and conversing with each other, then Mallory pointed towards the game room, and Sam went sprinting out there to do or get whatever they were talking about.  I love having multiples and being able to experience that.  Another time, I laid Taylor across Mallory's lap in the rock in play and before I said anything, Mallory goes "Baby!".  They do sweet and adorable things all of the time and I wish I could freeze time right now.
