Bump Days: Week 16

How far along? 16 weeks

 

Sleep? Anytime, anywhere.

Maternity Clothes? Everything but work clothes.

Stretch Marks? No and I hope I don't get them 

Best Moment this week? .Holding cute little 12 week old triplets.

Miss Anything? Lots of stuff... just found out I'm not allowed to do anything but walk (as little as possible), sit, and sleep.

Movement? Nope, not yet.

Size of the Babies? Three little Avacados!

Food Cravings? I bought a King Cake today... not the best, but still fulfilling the sweet tooth I have right now.

Morning Sickness? Yes, still having yucky days... but now adding shortness of breath. 

Gender? My girl, my girl, my girl.

Bed Rest? Not quite yet, but likely not far away..

Limitations? No bending over... What!?!? 

Labor Signs? Not yet, thankfully.

Weight Gain? 8 lbs.

Pregnancy Symptoms? Acne, acne, acne... ugh. 

Belly Button In or Out? Still In but beginning to flatten 

Wedding Rings On or Off? Still On

Mood? Bummed that I'm not allowed to do much of anything anymore.  Weird, but I'm gonna miss doing laundry and dishes. 

Looking Forward To? Making up my mind for the nursery... so many decisions.

What Brian is Saying:  It is not so much what he is saying this week, it is how much he is doing for me.  Anything I ask without a question.  I love him.

Bump Day: Week 15

How far along? 15 weeks

 

Sleep? Yes, please. 

 

Maternity Clothes? Beginning to move on to maternity shirts.

Stretch Marks? Nope

Best Moment this week? Enjoying the sun in San Diego over the weekend.

Miss Anything? Being able to walk my puppy dog, Ryley.  I'm not allowed to exercise plus there is a high chance she would pull me over. 

 

Movement? Nope, not yet.

 

Size of the Babies? Three little Navel Oranges!

 

Food Cravings? I kinda want a caramel apple right now.  I'm able to eat sweets again, Whoo Hoo! 

 

Morning Sickness? Less bad days.  Still feel worse in the evenings. 

 

Gender? Still 3 girls.

 

Bed Rest? Nope.

 

Limitations? No Roller Coasters....noooooo!!!

Labor Signs? Not yet, thankfully.

 

Weight Gain? 7 lbs or so.

Pregnancy Symptoms? Belly is growing every day. 

Belly Button In or Out? Still In

 

Wedding Rings On or Off? Still On

 

Mood? Overwhelmed about all of the things I have to do.

 

Looking Forward To? Our next ultrasound.  And the Weekend!

Bump Day: Week 14

  How far along? 14 weeks

Sleep? As much as possible

Maternity Clothes? On the weekends mostly since my work pants still work.

Stretch Marks? Not yet

Best Moment this week? Seeing the ultrasound and finding out our 3 little angels are GIRLS!

Miss Anything? Energy and the will to get things done around the house.

Movement? Nope, not yet.

Size of the Babies? Three little Lemons!

Food Cravings? No, just trying to eat a descent amount each day.

Morning Sickness? It seems like it may be going away and then BAM, more nausea.

Gender? Proud to announce we are having THREE precious GIRLS.

Bed Rest? Nope.

Limitations? No exercising and rest as much as possible.

Labor Signs? Not yet, thankfully.

Weight Gain? 7 lbs yesterday.

Pregnancy Symptoms? Constantly feeling full... is that a symptom?

Belly Button In or Out? Still In

Wedding Rings On or Off? Still On

Mood? Happy about know about our little girls.

Looking Forward To? No more morning sickness. Organizing my house... I love to organize!

What Brian is Saying: {with his head against my belly} "I hear babies!" with the proudest smile on his face.

Gender Reveal

Bump Day: Week 13

Soooo, Wednesday OR Hump Day is now officially known as BUMP DAY on this here blog.  I will be giving weekly updates on how my pregnancy is going.  So, here it goes…

 

How far along? 13 weeks yesterday

 

Sleep?   Yes, please.  I sleep through the night with the exception of getting up to pee.  Also, I can nap at almost any moment.  Not much different than before pregnancy but I do notice more exhaustion.

 

Maternity Clothes?  I’ve started using a few items.  The B-Band is a must since I can’t button my jeans any more…

 

Stretch Marks?  No, but Brian bought me some Palmer’s Cocoa Butter.  Never too early to start lubing up that belly.

 

Best Moment this week?  Continuing to see people’s reaction when I tell them I am pregnant and then their expressions when I tell them its triplets… priceless.

 

Miss Anything?  Feeling un-nauseated.

 

Movement?  Nope, not yet.

 

Size of the Babies?  Three little peaches!

 

Food Cravings?  No, just aversions.  Anything I’ve thrown up so far is off limits.

 

Morning Sickness?  Yes, Yes, and Yes.  (I’m answering for each baby since they are all contributing).

 

Gender?  We should find out next week so there will be a BIG announcement then.

 

Bed Rest?  Nope, still working my tushy off.

 

Limitations?  No lifting more than 10 lbs and no jumping.

 

Labor Signs?  Not yet thankfully.

 

Weight Gain?  4 lbs the last time I checked.

 

Pregnancy Symptoms?  Morning sickness and some low back pain.

 

Belly Button In or Out?  Still In

 

Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still On

 

Mood?  So so today… morning sickness has gotten the best of me.

 

Looking Forward To?  No more morning sickness.  This first trimester is now over, shouldn’t the nausea be as well?

 

What Brian is Saying:  “Whoa!”  As he touches my belly… a little bigger than he remembers.

TEAM Patterson

I suppose I named this blog Team Patterson for a reason, however I wasn't aware 6 months ago how fitting it really was.  Team Patterson came about on the day of our rehearsal for our wedding and was mentioned again during our wedding ceremony more than 4 and a half years ago by our minister.  There was a point in the ceremony when our hands were placed on top of each other's, like they would be in a flag football huddle before someone yelled, "break!".  The minister then remarked in his speech about how sometimes each of us may have to pick the other up by saying, "Go Team".  Since then, Brian and I like to think of ourselves as a team.  We work well together, communicate, and make a plan for our future.

With all of that being said, Brian and I are thrilled and blessed to announce that "our team" is expanding because I am PREGNANT!!!

Not only that, but we are expanding by not one...

Not two...

But by THREE babies!!

Yes, my friends, we are having triplets.  We are instantly becoming a family of five (the size of an actual team).  Triple the diapers, triple the carseats, triple the smiles, triple the college tuition, and triple the LOVE.

I am 12 weeks along and per our last ultrasound, all of the babies look healthy and are a tiny ahead of schedule in size.  I`m beginning to show (especially since there are three) and I'm hoping I'm close to being out of the woods when it comes to morning sickness...that is a whole different story.

Brian and I are beyond excited to be welcoming these little guys (or girls) in to the world towards the end of May.  We realize this pregnancy comes with risks... like bed rest, complications, and possible time in the NICU, but we are already feeling the love and support around us.  We are so blessed.

Our New Business

Hi readers... Brian and I have started a new adventure.  My uber-talented hubby built a PHOTO BOOTH from scratch... yes, you heard me, from scratch.  We've been throwing the idea around for years about starting our own lil business but couldn't find the right thing to do.  Brian was reading a magazine and found a company that sells turn-key photo booths.  We received information from this company and the more Brian looked in to it, the more he realized that he could do it himself.  With a couple weeks of research, about 1/2 the cost of buying a photo booth, and about 3 weeks of manufacturing in the Patterson garage, we now have ourselves our very own Photo Booth.  Tada!

 

 

I'm so happy of our decision.  Brian and I are excited to have something to do as a couple.  Our plan is to rent the photo booth to events like weddings, work parties, fundraisers, CHRISTMAS parties (these are coming soon, anyone interested?), or any other gatherings of a bunch of people.

 

 

We were able to debut our photo booth at our 4th annual Halloween party.  All of our guests had a blast taking funny pics and putting on our assortment of props and costumes.  What was really cool was that they immediately uploaded to facebook so everyone could see them online and tag themselves.

Our first dilemma.... we don't have a name!  Any suggestions out there would be very helpful, so leave me a message if you have ideas for our new company name.

 

Brian will be working on an enclosure soon and we will have customizable props and backdrops.  Sooo... if there are any events coming up in the Houston area that needs a photo booth, please let us know.  We'd love to do business with you!
