Triple Play: 3.5 Years

How old?  3.5 years.

Our weights?  S:  31ish lbs T: 31ish lbs M:  31ish lbs (We broke 30 lbs, Yay!)
Heights - S: 36 1/2 in  T: 37 in M: 36 3/4 in
They are wearing size 3t and 4t.
Shoe size:  S: 8  T: 8 M: 8

Our sleeping patterns?  The girls nap about 4-5 times per week.  They are gradually losing naps and I'm not thrilled about it.  I do have to say when they don't nap, it makes bedtime so much easier.

Sleeping has gotten better.  I still haven't had more than 4 consistent nights of full sleep.  Bedtime is mostly frustrating as a parent since EVERYTHING is wrong when a 3 year old is trying to go to bed.  They need this or that or need to pee or "Make my blanket right" or I don't want covers or now I want covers (and why couldn't you read my mind!).  It is a little easier than a few months back but its still exhausting.

They wake up pretty between 7-7:30 most days.

Our eating schedule?  The girls have breakfast at 8:00 AM, Lunch at noon, snack when they wake up from their nap (between 3-4), and dinner at 6ish.

Our favorite foods?  S: Chocolate milk, Nutella, and avocados (surprisingly).
T: Olives.  She is now just as picky as Sam.
M: Veggies, meat, fruit.

Our likes? Princesses, barbies, watching movies, playing outside, dolls... girly stuff.

Our dislikes?  Not getting their way.  Mostly I have done what they want, but they just want to be mad about something.  They are starting to fight a little more, but still not that much.

Our favorite games/toys?  Barbies, Princess dolls, Paw Patrol, coloring books, books, sticker books

Our milestones?
S: Can write "Sam" and identifying more letters. Drawing people and other objects.
T: Writes her name consistently.  Drawing horses and houses.
M: Writes her name.  Coloring better in the lines of coloring books.

Things we do to make Mom and Dad smile?  Giggle, love on each other, group hugs, movie nights, playing nicely together.

A Triplet Halloween: Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and this year did not disappoint. The girls had so much fun dressing up as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather (the fairies in Sleeping Beauty in case you aren't up to date with your princess movie characters).

They have always loved these characters and it didn't take much convincing.  My favorite Mother-in-law made the most beautiful, adorable costumes.  We received numerous, "Those are the best costumes we've seen all night" and "You girls won the costume contest"  and "Y'all are the cutest things I've ever seen"!  And its true, I couldn't stop taking pictures of them.  Not only did they look cute, but they were in character as well.  They called each other Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, and corrected any adult that didn't use those names.  They were pretty adorable.  Here are a slew of photos from tonight.

They couldn't wait to see themselves dressed up in the mirror.  This is their "first look".

I was afraid they wouldn't keep their hats on, but they did.  They may have sweat more than they ever have, but they knew they had to wear their costumes to get more candy.

Twirling and group hugs.  I wish they could stay this little forever.

Ready to go to the party down the street.

MBC Halloween 2016.  So much fun spending holidays with wonderful neighbors.

Time to Trick-or-Treat.  This is by far Sam's favorite holiday.  This is the 3rd year in a row that she has led the pack to each house and wasn't ready to stop at the end.  I was so proud they kept their costumes on the whole time.

The girls had so much fun and so did I.  I love watching the joy on their faces.  They said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you" at each house followed by a "I got some more candy!" from Sam.  Mallory told me when I put her to bed tonight, "Mom, I want to do Halloween again."  My response was about having to wait a whole year and she said, "I'm so excited!"

And Brian to Sam, "You were the cutest tonight."  and her response, "Oh Daddy, settle down."  I love these precious girls and I can't wait until next year.

Perfect Vitamins for Kiddos: Smarty Pants

Recently I started my girls on these new multi-vitamins called Smarty Pants from Hotze Health and Wellness.  Let me just say, they were a hit in my house... with the kids and with me.

If you have read any update on my girls this year, you would know that 2 out of the 3 are the picky-ist of picky eaters.  These vitamins pack a punch with the amount of goodies they have in them... from essential vitamins and minerals to omega-3s, vitamin D, and 4 grams of soluble fiber.  Sam and Taylor won't even let me put veggies or meat on their plates, so it makes me feel a little better knowing they are getting the things they need.  And the biggest thing in our house...THE KIDS LIKE THEM!!! (Mini-dance party going on right now).

A direct quote from Mallory:
"They're good! They taste like apple juice!"

And I asked them, "Are they better than princess gummies (vitamins)?"
All together:  "YES!"

Go check out Hotze Vitamins and used coupon code TEAMPATTERSON for $5 off your purchase.  Our entire family have thoroughly enjoyed having these Smarty Pants vitamins in our house.
