Citrus Lane: Delivering a Box of Surprise Goodies Every Month

What was in my box this month?

 

 

1.  Stacking Cups from Green Toys.  I love these!  And my girls love these!  There are multiple pieces so everyone gets to hold one.  They can be used in the water, with sand, or just to chew on and bang together.  They stack the way the picture shows and also upside down.  They are numbered so when the girls get older, we can use them to improve their math skills.  They are volumetrically accurate so a 2 plus a 3 equals a 5.  I'm just happy my girls will be able to grow with this toy and its educational.

 

2.  Back to Nature snacks.  I can't wait to try these when I can have dairy again.  They contain no artificial preservatives, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, flavors, or colors.  The perfect size to throw in my purse for a snack on the run.

 

3.  Double snack container by Goodbyn.  Perfect for a mom with triplets.  One cup for each baby is always too much and one cup is never enough, so this is the perfect size for us.

 

4.  Fresh Feet Wipes from Jasmine Seven.  Most days, I just run around the house barefoot when I'm chasing babies.  At the end of the day, these are awesome for cleaning my tootsies before jumping in bed.

 

5.  Playground ball from Crocodile Creek.  The girls are ALL about balls right now.  They make the "Ba" sound when they see or play with a ball so I'm sure ball will be one of their first words.  It bounces and its small enough for their tiny hands to hold.  They go right for it when I put them in their play pen.  Its PVC, BPA, and vinyl free.

Triplets' First Vacation: Part 3 (the rest of the trip)

On April 30, Brian and I signed up for a kayaking tour by ourselves.  The girls stayed with the grandparents for the day (and had a great time without us).  Brian and I got a tandem kayak so we could chat while we were on the water.

 

 

 

 

We came across some wildlife while kayaking.  We saw some dolphin in the distance, some tree crabs in the mangroves, and the neatest were the Cormorant birds.  They were paddling next to us in the kayak, when they would dive and swim under and all around us.  They stayed with us for quite a long time.  Take a look at this video.

 

 

 

 The tour also took us through the mangrove tunnels.  They were so cool and we had done something like this in Puerto Rico before.  You could see the tree crabs all over the trees and we also spotted some sea stars under the water.

 

 

Ready for another Beach Day!  The girls are ready to go.

 

 

Siesta Key beach was beautiful.  This day the waves were much higher.

 

 

 

 

Our last day, we saved for the MOTE Aquarium in Sarasota.  We knew it was supposed to rain, so it was the perfect opportunity to do something indoors.  It was another first for the babies.  However they fit right in...

 

 

 

They loved looking through the glass to see the sea creatures.

 



 

 This ended up being a really memorable vacation.  I loved watching my girls do and see things for the first time.  I know they won't remember it, but I will and I can tell them all about it.  Traveling with triplets is not what you would call easy, but it can be done, and I'm so glad we took on the challenge.  And a big big thank you to my parents and Brian's Mom for joining us and making it a little easier.  Thank You!  Where are we going next?!?
